THE 4 TYPES OF EATING: Fuel, Fun, Fog and Storm
1. Fog Eating is an unconscious way of eating. No pleasure. We want to eliminate this type of eating altogether and The Moon Valley Med Spa is the answer.
2. Storm eating is binge eating or eating when you are out of control. Also, a type of eating that we do not want to do. This type of eating is often associated with emotional issues attached to food. The problem is that we often go too far. That’s not going to happen while you’re on The Moon Valley Med Spa.
3. Fuel Eating is eating to nourish your body. Food for energy, packed full of protein and vitamins and minerals. We want most of your eating to be this way 80% of the time and The Moon Valley Med Spa helps you temper your appetite so you make good choices. But let’s not forget Fun Eating…
4. Fun Eating is eating for pleasure. This is usually foods that have little to no nutritional value but bring you a pleasurable experience when eating. We encourage this type of eating IN MODERATION. And the only other rule is that you MUST BE PRESENT AND ENJOY EACH BITE FULLY.

We believe that the European way of looking at your diet is healthier both mentally and physically. Smaller portions, clean, whole, non-processed foods and dessert is OK! Denying yourself foods breeds the unhealthy rebound of overdoing it when you do choose to indulge. Go ahead and order the cheesecake, but have 3-4 bites.
